Thun
Located on lake Thunersee and divided by the powerful tributaries of the River Aare, the town of Thun and its impressive outlook invite the visitor to linger a while.
The charming Old Town is home to attractive boutiques and traditional shops. A large number of restaurants and hotels right by the water lends the area a Mediterranean atmosphere.
The castle – the unmistakable symbol of Thun – sits enthroned, high above the rooftops.
Twice a year, Thun belongs to the bikers. The Edelweiss Riders & Friends - many Beo bikers are members - organize their spring Pre Loveride
event on behalf of people suffering from muscular diseases and in December the St Nicholas ride on behalf of Swiss charity Pro Juventute's
campaign for fairy-tale telling in children's hospitals.
